Great hotel and friendly staff. Beautiful location surrounded by nature, perfect for exploring the area. One suggestion: consider replacing the self-service coffee machines at breakfast with freshly brewed coffee served from the bar, as is standard in most 4-star hotels in Italy.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting. No idea what others have to complain about. ||Have a look at the website. It really is as good as it looks. ||Rooms are beautiful and the decor and furnishings are what you would expect to find in a property of this age. If you want carpets and IKEA wardrobes this is not the place for you. ||The restaurant serves top quality food. However the menu doesn’t change so does get repetitive after a couple of nights and getting out to other places is what you’ll find you’ll want to do. ||No 5am dash for sunbeds. This place doesn’t attract that kind of guest and in high season there’s always beds available. ||If you are a UK traveller you really don’t need to book via Jet2 or TUI. Book direct. You’ll get a better rate and possibly a better room. We were a group of 3 which would mean 2 twins via a package option but booking direct we got a junior suite for less including Ryan Air flights. You can also book for as many nights as you want and not 7 or 14 via package. If you have a problem then you talk to the reception and they’ll sort it. A rep is of no use. ||You will need a car. It really is worth it. You can get to Peschiera Del Garda in 10 mins and lots of other lovely places on the lake in 20-30mins for evening meals and trips on the lake. Taxis are €15 before you start and the bus stop is a 20min walk away.

Nice location. Unfortunately, maintenance is needed, a more customer-centric staff as well as better amenities. The stay was far from what we expected. Not worth the investment considering all the nice(r) options in the region. The last day of our stay the cleaning personnel had left the bathroom windows open (note over 30 degrees) and we came back to find several spiders.

We booked our 2 week half board holiday as no all inclusive is available here with Jet 2.com and read the reviews which were from 2024 and did our own research about the hotel. The hotel is an old Manor House in lovely surrounding countryside and gardens. Our accommodation was in a fairly new single story block of 6 rooms which was very nice, good size room and bathroom with large shower excellent air conditioning also an outside seating area. The fresh water pool was well maintained with adequate sun loungers and umbrellas in a loverly setting with a kiosk for drinks and snacks. Toilet facilities were back in the main hotel. The restaurant had both an outside eating area under shaded canopies and an inside area too. Breakfast consisted of a very good continental style choice pluse scrambled eggs boiled eggs and a continental bacon. Muesli fresh fruit and accompaniments. Juices, tea and coffee.|The evening meal for the half board clientele was from a choice given by the waitress, first course a choice of between 2 or 3 types of pasta dishes, which were repeated every 2 days, Second course was a choice of only 2 dishes between chicken, veil and occasionally beef plus trout and bass. When 2 meat dishes were offered then they would go and check with the kitchen and offer a trout or bass as an alternative. Desserts again a choice of 2 or 3 usually a lemon sorbet, Panna cotta , tiramisu, occasionally a tart of some sort if they had had a large bus tour in. We must say that as half board clientele we felt inferior to those guests who were only staying a day or so and having the à la carte menu. Water was 3.5 euros for a 750mls bottle bottles of wine from 20 euros, small beer 5.0 euros.|As the hotel is rural the guide stated the nearest bus stop was 2km away about 20 minutes walk in Ponti Su Mincio. But there is only 3 buses going out a day, fortunately the one at 9.26 was ideal to travel into Peschiera 2.2 euro each way tickets bought from the shop opposite the bus stop. Return tickets available. The return from Peschiera was 14.07 or later one 17.38 or a taxi would be anywhere from 15 to 25 euro depending who and where it’s booked from.|You can get out and about with some thought and planning, the hotel does hire out a selection of bicycles from 10 euros a day and there are plenty of cycle routes around and about. Car hire is available if not pre booked with your holiday if you’re planning getting out and about to explore the lake as also scooters can be hired from 29 euros a day. |The local town of Ponti Su Mincio does have a castle a restaurant and a good cafe with bakery.

Amazing hotel. If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to go. The rooms are large and very comfortable with roomy en suite bathroom. Toiletries and towels are refreshed daily.|When we arrived we had requested with Jet 2 to have 2 x twin rooms. However Jet 2 hadn't passed on the information. Although rooms had been made up as doubles they changed the one room immediately for my daughter and Grandson and mine and hubby's was changed when they made the bed the next day. Anything requested was dealt with easily and pleasantly by the staff.|Breakfast is Continental with plenty of toast jams rolls cakes croissants meats and salad and coffee, tea zetc.|We ate at the Hotel 1 night for hubby's birthday. Food drink and service were amazing.|The swimming pool area was beautiful. Very calming. No fighting for sunbeds and often the pool to ourselves. There is a little snack hut where you can get sandwiches, burgers, drinks and icecreams too.|The only 'problem' was the distance from Pescheira town. Not the hotel's fault but Jet 2 for not making this clear in the description. As we had opted for b n b as we wanted to taste the Italian cuisine in a variety of places we needed a taxi to get to town. This costs between 15 -20 euro each way and sometimes neatly an hours wait. A couple of times we went into the town in the day as well which meant it added 350+ euro to our holiday costsall told.|To the hotel staff you are amazing.|To Jet 2 you are rubbish.

We spend 3 nights at this hotel with 2 dogs, it was really beautiful 😍 The nature surrounding the hotel is beautiful, the complex itself it's just breathtaking.. also really dog friendly ❤️
The stuff and service is so welcoming, kind and helpful!
The only minus point is that our WiFi connection in the room was really bad(almost non existent) and also the phone signal was very low.
All in all our stay was excellent, we'll recommend it and will definitely come again. Thank you ❤️

We stayed at RCC during our summer vacation as a family with kids. Overall, we came back home with pleasant memories. If you look into details, I believe there are things that needs attention at this place.

-The building, surroundings and the atmosphere is amazing! Very beautiful architecture and details, nice pool and garden. Also quiet silent and peaceful despite many kids 🙂

-The staff was very friendly. But you really miss the presence of a “hotel manager” who could be visible during the day and establish a connection with the guests. The guests should be asked to continuous feedback during the stay… This is definitely not the case…

-The area was hit by an extraordinary storm 3 weeks before our visit. And we also suffered the consequences of it. Hot water was a problem due to storm damage, especially during peak hours like before dinner. Terrace of the restaurant was also closed, large umbrellas were broken and not repaired. I don’t know whether they made a conscious choice to leave them messy but it felt like we were at a stranded place. I would prefer to have it fixed or at least tidied up if I were to make the call. I did not see any efforts during our 8 days stay.

- F&B : Breakfast is okay. I’d prefer having better coffee though. We never had lunch but the dinner was included in our booking. Very basic 3 course menu, food was okay but limited variety. Wine was okay. Restaurant staff was also very friendly… We also noticed the absence of a bar. You come back from dinner outside and would like to have a drink/coffee, no chance but the minibar… Number of seats to chill was also very limited. Overall, for a 4 star hotel, I’d expect better F&B availability.

I believe with a bit of attention to detail and investment, this place could be a very nice destination to go back again.
