Very systematic. Polite staff. Clean rooms. Cheap food. Best is to arrive via train and get down at Miramare station as it is very very close.to the station. If you take the bus,.you will have to walk a lot uphill. With luggage it is surely difficult.

The place is old version with old rooms. It’s hard to stay at Galileo Guesthouse if you have any event at Adriatico Guesthouse as it’s around 20 minutes walk between the two Guesthouses. Also, the local transportation like buses are available in front of Adriatico Guesthouse and far from Galileo Guesthouse. However, the sea view is amazing there.

I have been in this guest house to attend two workshops in ICTP. One of them was just a week back. It is a nice place with shared accommodation, attached bathroom. The view from the rooms at the top floor are nice as the Adriatic Sea is visible. There is a breakfast place here in the weekdays, but lunch and dinner are not available here. Overall a nice place to stay.

Very good service and atmosphere, the room has old furniture the service is amazing, regarding the location it's outside the city and not covered by direct bus you need to walk to main street.

I love the blackboard in the room! Not much to do in the guesthouse in the evening and you need to climb down the hill to go to a bar or to Trieste town by bus... a nice bar on the ground floor would have been nice.

It's a nice guest house but I will rate Adriatico more than this due to following reasons.
1) Sea view from Adriatico is amazing.
2) they've cafeteria inside
3) last stop of bus # 6 is here.
4) their rooms are more spacy
5) it's not on hilly location like Galileo guesthouse

Always is great to stay in Galileo Guestahouse! Nice views, close to Leonardo Bldg and Adriático and to the Miramare park. The only thing it would be nice to have is that the cafeteria be open on weekends because there are no coffe places close by.
