The location was perfect, very close to the train station, and only a short walk to the town centre. The staff at the hotel were so friendly, and helpful - the lady even gave us recommendations for restaurants, and a map to guide us around Genoa. The room itself was very modern, and clean. Perfect hotel, and great value for money. Thank you.

For a inexpensive tourist class hotel I was very happy with the room and shower. The bed was comfortable and everything worked. We did have an issue with the mini frig and within minutes someone came up to resolve. That is I gave it a good review. The only downside is that the breakfast was just very basic. My European partner just loves the included price of hotel breakfast while I prefer to go find a local cafe for breads and coffee.

We stayed at B&B Hotel Genova Principe for a 5 nights as a couple, and it turned out to be a great choice. The location is excellent — right next to Genova Principe train station, which made getting around the city and to nearby destinations really easy. Despite being so central, our room was quiet and peaceful.||||The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a good bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and a nice bathroom. It had everything we needed for our stay.||||All the staff were friendly and very helpful, offering tips about what to see and where to eat nearby. ||||Breakfast was simple but good quality, with fresh pastries and coffee. Overall, we found this hotel to be great value for money and will happily stay here again on our next visit to Genoa.

The hotel check in process was great and the small shop in the hotel certainly came in handy for buying a late night snack or drink. Very handy location due to proximity to the train station. The walk from the hotel to the old town was sketchy and wouldn’t feel comfortable making the journey alone. That said, the area immediately outside the hotel was fine apart from there appeared to be no designated smoking area, so we often returned to find groups of people immediately outside the hotel doors smoking, which was not pleasant to walk through. The hotel itself was fine. Large room. Plenty of space for luggage and to store clothing/toiletries etc. no bin in the room itself, just in the bathroom, which was odd but only a minor gripe. The mattress was very comfortable as was the pillow provided, however there was only 1 pillow provided per person, which is fine for sleeping, but for sitting up or relaxing in bed this was not comfortable with just one pillow. Usually an additional one would be provided without the need to ask for it. The staff were very friendly and the hotel (at least the areas that we observed) was clean and well looked after.

Everything was super, the cleanliness of the room and bathroom superior to most places I have stayed in. What in my experience slightly lowered the standard was the very laid back attitude of the staff at breakfast, who were not on the ball at peak times when bowls, plates and cups as well as food/drinks had to be replenished quickly. Wonderfully helpful and friendly receptionists.

Bathroom was extreamly slippery, to the point where there was a dedicated string in the shower with a sign that said to pull in emergency. I could feel myself slide back while standing still in the shower. Also the towels were gross and made sleeping feel gross and icky after a shower. Beds felt fine and the room had space.

Nice hotel located by the central station with a reasonable distance to the center and the old town.
The staff is super nice and helpful, especially Francesco.
Large and fresh rooms with air conditioning, unfortunately a very small elevator so if you are a family of 4 you have to go in turns.
The breakfast is good with a varied selection, but the refill is a bit slow so you may have to wait for what you want.
