My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel last summer. We spend a lovely time there. It is a simple but a charming place to stay. It is a family run hotel, the staff is very friendly and the owner makes everything possible to make you feel at home, being a member of her family rather than a tourist. This is exactly how we felt staying there. ||In terms of the hotel itself, it is clean and charming, rooms are not big but that is reflected in a price which is quite moderate. The biggest advantage if this hotel is food. It is great! If you are a type of the person who appreciates good, substantial lunches and dinners with several dishes on your choice, this is the ideal place for you. Do not search further! The level of cooking is suitable for a 4 stars restaurant, and the servants remember all your eating habits from the day 1. ||There is a lovely terrace on the top of the hotel which we used to chill out in the afternoon because there is no sun there at that time. We used to sit there and eat delicious fruits that we bought in the local market. The view on the hills is also lovely from this terrace.||The hotel is situated at a pleasant walking distance from the beach, each time you will pass through the shops and markets which is also fun.||The hotel is on the quiet street, a good sleep is guaranteed. Special attention is served to children and old people.||I would highly recommend this place for families and couples.

I stayed here as a solo traveller for 4 nights. ||The hotel was easy to find from the train station and is in an excellent location for the beach front and the main shopping streets. Approximately a 10 minute walk and your on the beach (I recommend visiting the bay of silence rather than the main beach) ||When I arrived at the hotel, I was a bit confused because in the main reception area there was a lot of mobility equipment for elder people. This hotel seemed more like a retirement home at times. ||My room was a good size with a good size bathroom also. I had a balcony which I would recommend requesting. The rooms could do with updating but it was very comfortable.||Breakfast was served in the main dining room. Reasonable choice of food and the waiting staff were great, remembering my drinks order and which room I was in each day. As with the rooms, the dining room could be updated. ||The only problem I had with this hotel was that when you left for the day, you had to leave your room key on a hook next to the elevator. This was in full view of anybody passing the lift and so anybody could take different keys from the hooks and get into your room. ||There was a real family run feel about this hotel though and the staff were all very friendly and very considerate. I do however feel that this hotel is rather expensive. ||I would recommend this hotel to older couples or families who are looking for a nice, family run hotel in a very quiet, relaxed town.

I have just returned from a one week visit to beautiful Sestri Levante in Liguria. ||The holiday was booked at the last minute and hotel options within Sestri itself were very limited.||I phoned the hotel directly, using the number on their own website and was able to speak with a lovely English-speaking lady who reserved a room for me with no bother at all. I sent an e-mail as a follow-up and the booking was confirmed. The room-booking websites I had tried in fact didn't show any available rooms at this place so phoning was a good move.||The hotel is fairly modern and has a great location 10 minutes from the beach and centre of town. The location is very quiet and it was easy to 'to & fro' from the town centre.||Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. The shower worked well as did the aircon and the bed was comfortable. MTV available on the tv!||The staff were without exception thoughtful, kind, cheerful, polite and eager to help out. ||We booked B&B only and breakfast is good. Fresh fruit, pastries, great coffee and cheese/meat if you want it. Half/full-board are available and might represent a money-saving option. The lunchtime and evening menus looked good but we ate out every night. So many excellent restaurants on hand.||Clientele is mixed; plenty of holiday makers from different parts of the world (NZ, France, Germany, Italy, UK) and I guess the odd person on a business trip.||There's a roof terrace with sun loungers. Great to catch some sun or watch the stars at night.||In summary, a decent and affordable hotel where you will be well-received and looked after. No complaints.|||||| clientele is mixed with

We stayed here one night on our way to Piedmont. The rooms were small but comfortable. Free wifi and the bathroom had the necessary amenities. The breakfast was included and was good. The hotel did provide free parking about 2-short blocks away in a shopping centre (which was available during our stay). We did have problem with our vehicle and the staff person was extremely helpful. Our 1-800 number for the car was closed due to Mother's Day; however, staff person got in touch with the automobile club and was there in less than 5 minutes. Problem was addressed and we were on our way. A very special thanks. There was a terrace on the roof top.

Three of us (couple and 2 year old toddler) stayed at this charming family hotel for a few days in August 2011. From the moment we arrived we felt at home without any frills or pretense.||||We decided to take half-board and were not disappointed. Adults and child enjoyed the meals (breakfast is included, half board lets you decide daily if you want lunch or dinner depending on the day's menu). ||||AC is on a central switch which was fine (goes off in morning and back on for afternoons and evenings)||||Parking is an issue. We were lucky to find a spot on arrival and never moved the car after that.||||Sestri itself is a real gem with very friendly people and we can't wait to go back next summer!

We enjoyed three days in Sestri Levante and stayed at Villa Rosa. The hotel was only a 5 minutes walk from the central station and was easy to find. The staff was very helpful and the room was nice and clean. We had brekfast included which was nice. If you want to live in a reasonably priced hotel near the city center - we reccommend staving at Villa Rosa.

Parking 'possible' on site it says - should but realistically extremely unlikely. It is nightmarish we had to leave the car on the curb outside the hotel. It's a real major issue if you come by car we got lucky in the end but were left with them telling us when the receptionist was leaving we could have her spot - great lets sit in a hotel for a few hours waiting for staff to go home before going out? Otherwise 5min walk to the seafront - rooms clean modern breakfast good fresh and welcoming.

An amazing experience. Not only the room was nice, quiet and clean also the people there are amazong. They give me advice for the parking spot nearby, the give me the taxi number, give me breakfast even if I was late. The day I have t leave they let me take a shower and use the toilet after the check out. Amazing.
