A beautiful resort, the staff was so friendly, the rooms are beautiful and you get to just be out in nature! We spent our mornings hiking and came back to the resort for lunch. We rested most afternoons and spent our nights stargazing from the hot tub. This place really let's you connect with nature and your loved ones. The Spa is fantastic. I cannot say enough good about Gateway Canyons.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Since the reviews on mixed on TripAdvisor and Google we almost didn't come. Very glad we did. Staff was excellent. Food was great and so was the pool/grounds. Best brussel sprouts I have ever had and I am definitely a foodie. Also great value for meal prices. The property is not "tired" as some people suggest. One minor repair in our room that I would hardly get fussed about. The views are absolutely spectacular! September temps were great. Glad we came- thanks for a great stay!

I live in the Southwest and wanted to find a relaxing spot in CO or Utah where there might be some spectacular views of fall trees and red rocks. Had Moab in mind but this popped up when I searched for Moab.||||The views and the resort grounds are absolutely beautiful. We booked their lowest-price room which was large, quiet, comfortable (w fridge and wet bar) and, most importantly, had a fabulous view.|||| We were there to hike and enjoy the views, so we did not use the spa or participate in any of the offered activities (horseback riding, jeep trips, archery…) We did use the restaurant which was pleasant and reasonably priced — which is important because there are no restaurants nearby.

The spa and accommodations at the Gateway Canyons were terrific. The staff were fabulous and really did everything possible to make our stay great.||||The grounds are well kept and a pleasure to stroll. The exercise facilities were clean and had everything needed for a good workout. The pool is spectacular as are the pool side amenities. ||||Our suites were beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. Our spa experience was exactly what we were seeking. ||||I only wish the hiking trails were better marked and maintained.

This is my second trip to the resort, my last being 10 years ago. The resort is beautiful, getting a bit tired however. I understand there might be new ownership in the future to spruce it up.

Food is good very large portions and a good value.

Scenery is unmatched and worth the trip nothing but ‘oh wows’ the whole way.

The museum has changed, John Hendricks sold his amazing collection and in its place is 22 of his brother’s cars. Still cool but not the eye popper of car history that it was.

This is a gorgeous resort in Colorado’s red rock canyon country. Our room was huge, with a marvelous view. The grounds are beautiful and extensive. Service was attentive. The one open restaurant was good enough and portions were gigantic. A very special place!

The room accommodations meet all needs. Comfy beds, great hot showers, quiet rooms, coffee makers with cream, windows that open to let birdsong in. Very good menus with wonderful flavorful food. Beautiful natural landscape surrounds the premises amid surrounding canyons and valleys. Every employee was a joy to meet. It is a perfect place for a quiet getaway but has all the offerings of a more adventurous visit if that is what you are looking for.

What a beautiful place. the fall colors were amazing. Off season and the main dining and 2nd pool were closed. The food in the restaurant is reasonably priced (especially considering you are "stuck" there), and is exceptional! Will return!
